Easter Hat Parade
Yes we will be having an Easter Hat parade but it will be at a different time. We usually have our parade in the mid morning session but this year we have moved it to the last session on Friday afternoon, the last day of term 1. We would love to see our parents come and watch - with or without a hat, all welcome. This day will also be a mufti day to celebrate the end of a busy successful term.
School Payments and Finance.
Next term we, along with other local departmental schools will change to a new finance system. This new system will be a totally new one in terms of ordering, payments and finance. Please read the attached note carefully as it will impact on any future school payments that you may need to make to the school. This will include payments for excursions, Year 6 shirts and voluntary school contributions.
I am really concerned with the growing number of parents who are not using the marked crossing to walk their children across the road. An increasing number of parents are ignoring the crossing and dodging cars and buses to get to the other side. This is dangerous and is extremely poor role modelling for our children. We are lucky to date that we have not had an accident. Police will be having an increased presence so please ensure you use the crossing and follow the road rules safely.
Looking forward to a great night of dancing and moving on Thursday evening. See you there!
Just a reminder that our school will be participating in the ANZAC Day march at Tomakin on ANZAC Day. Details will come out later but please save the date. Participating in these types of events is a wonderful way for our children to learn about our history and heritage.
