There are reminders for all of us in children's books.
One awesome thing about Eeyore is that even though he is basically clinically depressed, he still gets invited to participate in adventures and shenanigans with all his friends.
They never expect him to pretend to feel happy, they just love him anyway, and they never leave him behind or ask him to change.

We have been having some beautiful weather lately, hard to believe winter officially starts next month. With the changing of the seasons, weather can change very quickly. Ensuring your child brings a warm top each day can help them stay comfortable before, after and during school.
Sadly, this year we have to postpone our participation in the Southern Stars program. Significant fundraising to the order of $10,000 was required for the program to go ahead and we were unable to ensure this amount, given the remaining time frame of 10 weeks.
Many thanks to Cherie Enright, Sam Clarke and the other teachers involved to date who made a great effort to try and work out ways to reach the targets.
On a positive note, the teachers involved have a firm plan for next year.
