The term has gone quickly and it's hard to believe that we are in our last week of term 3. Next term will possibly go even quicker as we have our major Stage 2 & 3 excursions as well as Intensive Learn to Swim classes, orientation programs for 2015 Kindergarten students and our summer sports program to name just a few!
We are now starting to look very carefully at student numbers and already we have closed some Year groups to non-local enrolments. If you are aware of any family who has yet to apply for enrolment could you please tell them to contact the Front Office as soon as possible.
From all at Broulee Public I would like to wish you lots of "holiday happiness" and we look forward to your safe return in term 4. Students and staff will all return on Tuesday 7 October.

Passion for Family - People
Whether it is a traditional group of blood related relatives or a community
of people who are somehow connected, family warms our hearts and ignites
a sense of passion. The "People" garden (Floriade 2014) featured floral colours, shapes and lines to represent a connected group of people .
- Floriade 2014
I was lucky enough to visit Floriade on Sunday and was amazed at the skill, design and beauty that featured throughout the displays. I was especially delighted to see the "People" garden and read with interest the above words.
Please check out our new animation on our school website: link??
This animation tells the story of our school philosophy, values and mission statement. Curtis Hardy from Year 4 tells our story and we have used videoscribe to draw the animations. We have had wonderful feedback about it so far and it has only been up a couple of days.
Thanks to Isabelle Cameron and to Curtis for this great piece of work. Please check it out and let us know what you think?
Father's Day Morning Tea:
What a fantastic morning last Thursday morning was - it was wonderful to have so many "dads and children" arrive for their Father's Day breakfast. A special thanks to Andrew (Gretel and Hudson's dad) and Tim (Wade's dad) for organising the morning and also to all the extra dads who put on the aprons and proceeded to cook such a lovely breakfast.
I hope you all enjoyed a special day yesterday with your families.
Last night we celebrated the Eurobodalla School's Leadership Dinner. Eleven local schools presented their school leaders and School Ambassadors to a packed audience that included local dignitaries, parents and school staff. Our School Captains - Erin White, Soma Faraday-Kogler, Max Cooper and Austin Reid joined other leaders in receiving a special certificate and small gift while Warren Jones and Nigel Dallas were recognised for their ongoing commitment, dedication and presentation of the school grounds and classrooms.
