A member of our community is seeking volunteers to help a local resident, Brian Holmes, move houses from Train St to Heath St between 29th-31st October next week. If you are available to assist in anyway could you please contact Rob Upton (0413 000 643, email@example.com) Rob will be helping the family coordinate the move.
I am planning on curating a small collection of historical photos of Broulee and Mossy Point area to have on the website. Please send me an email with a selection of any unique old photos you would like to contribute.

Think Outside The Bowl
GREAT NEWS ---- We are powering ahead with our plan to install a new bin at Broulee Skate Park.
And, to give our local skaters some ownership of the solution, we are having a bin made that can have photographs incorporated.
So - if you would like your photo included on the bin, come along on Wednesday 6 November between
3 and 5 pm.
We would like to get as many users of the skate bowl as we can to come down, have a skate, pick up a bit of litter and get their photos taken by some of our local photographers (who we are hoping will kindly donate their time and expertise). All photos will then be submitted to the Think Outside The Bowl team for creation of collages for the sides of the bin.
It's that time of the year again when we start our planning for 2014. This will involve both looking at the number of classes, including composite classes, as well as the student combinations within each class. We will continue our practice (based on current research) of having parallel classes with each class having a combination of both children who are high achievers, as well as children who might require some additional support. One of our priorities will also be to ensure that each child is placed in a class with at least some of their friends. Being with a friendship group is very important and we will try and accommodate this as much as possible. If you would like to discuss any concerns about placement in 2014, please do not hesitate to contact me or come in for a brief chat.
To make our work as easy as possible, if you know of any families who are thinking of applying for enrolment could you please ask them to talk to us as soon as possible. Alternatively, if you also know of any families who are thinking of moving we also need that information. Some of our classes are already full so it's important that our information is as accurate as possible. Many thanks for your help with this.
Please join us on our school Walkathon this Friday. It’s a great way to enjoy good company and wonderful beach scenery. A special invitation is extended to our grandparents who can either join us on our walk or just join us for lunch at the surf club. We will be leaving the school at 10.15 am and plan to have lunch at approximately 11.15 am at the surf club before our walk back to school.
This Thursday’s assembly at 1.45 pm will be led by students from 6R. All families are welcome to attend.
