Thanks to Stacey Wade (Donny & Shannon’s Mum) for organising our latest book for our parent's borrowing box. The new book is a NSW Health publication "Talk Soon. Talk Often”. The book is designed for parents and carers and came from research by La Trobe University. The book deals with the controversial topic of sex education and provides a supportive tool for families with tips on creating easy conversations about bodies, relationships, health and sexuality as part of routine communication. It links in with the NSW Department of Education's syllabus and guidelines. This book will join our other books available for loan to parents. Drop in and check them out, the book shelf is located in the Front Office.
Under P&C News in this week’s Scoop, the P&C have provided a link to a quick survey. The topic deals with online payments. Please take a few moments to complete the survey and help set the future direction of our school. Hard copies of this survey are available from the Front Office.
In a recent Scoop, it was mentioned in the P&C News that at our next P&C meeting this Thursday 24 November, we would be discussing uniforms. Please note that this will not be occurring. This is the final meeting for the year and we already have a full agenda. This agenda item will be held over until some time later in 2017. Finally, if you are looking to purchase new school shoes for your child for the new year, the correct footwear is black shoes or joggers.
