The first week back at school has gone very smoothly with children settling in quickly to the routine of learning.
An increase in student numbers has meant we have gained an additional class taking our number of classes up to 12, some of which are already full. We are very happy to welcome Mr Mick Cameron to our school as well as Mrs Elliott and Mrs Fairweather. Mr Cameron will be on Year 3 while Mrs Elliott and Mrs Fairweather will be team teaching on a Year 1 class.
All of our classes are parallel (each class has a combination of students performing well above average to those who may need some extra time to complete set tasks). There has also been a focus on friendship groups for the students with every student having at least one good friend in their new class.
