Following a few delays because of the drains surrounding the oven, the fencing has now been modified and re-installed. Many thanks go to Tim McDonald for his hard work in coordinating the manufacturing of the parts needed and organising the installation. We look forward to trying the new oven in the near future.
MAD Night - (Music - Art - Drama)
The MAD night is being held at Moruya High School hall on Tuesday 3rd December starting at 6.30 pm. This is an evening where students from our school have been asked to perform with Moruya High School students in a mix of dance, music and art displays. Broulee students will be involved in solo and group items showcasing the skills they have been practising throughout the year with Mr Phil Cullen, a Moruya HS music teacher, who has worked with our students on Wednesday afternoons.
The cost for audience members is $5 each or a family ticket may be purchased for $15. All the funds raised will be used to support the development of music, art and drama in 2014. Refreshments will be available on the night.
Please be aware that there are other MAD evenings which will involve other local primary schools so don't be alarmed if your friends from other schools are talking about a different MAD date. This sounds like a great evening of entertainment - we hope you can make it there.
Just a brief reminder that it is a legal requirement to provide an explanation for your child's absences. The Home-School Liaison Officer has just conducted an audit of our school attendance rolls and many students have unexplained absences. Your attention to this matter would be appreciated. Please remember that absence notes can now be done online through your child's class website. Look for the heading called FORMS and in the drop-down menu you will see the absence note. Of course, you can still write your note on paper if you prefer.
