The term has been busy, creative and hectic but full of rewards, transitions and learning experiences. As we finish the week with our school Cross Country races today and Easter Hat Parade on Friday its a time to reflect on how much we have achieved in such a short time. My thanks to a wonderfully supportive parent and community body and a great professional teaching staff but most of all to our enthusiastic happy students who bring a smile to our faces each and every day.
Please join us for our last few activities this week and have a wonderful holiday.
See you back at school on 29 April ready for another term of learning and sharing.

Our Imaginative Playground
Thanks to Andrew Mizzi from Trusses and Frameworks (donating the wood) and Phil Dunn, Clare Dunn's husband for making our giant weaving screens for our playground. These screens are part of our imaginative playground equipment and children can use various materials (ribbons, cloth etc ) to make patterns and pictures. A great addition to our playground and a lovely way to be facilitate collaboration and creativity with our students.
This year ANZAC Day falls toward the end of the school holidays. Each year we participate in the Tomakin ANZAC March and it would be wonderful to see a large number of our children ready to join this year's March. Children will need to be in full winter uniform and will need to meet at the Tomakin Store at 6:45am ready for a 7:00am start. Thanks to our parents for their support with this special day.
We will hold our own ANZAC Day service on the first day that the students return to school.
Parents and Maths
The following are videos that I thought parents might be interested in - they are from Hilltop Rd PS and explain how parents can help their children with maths.
