At Broulee PS we promote so many of these in our classroom programs: Having a growth mindset, applying our learning to real life situations to solve complex challenges, integrating technology into learning opportunities and building collaborative communities of learners across the school and with the school community. We certainly have plenty to be proud of!
Today’s Kindergarten ZOOM Art Show was a fantastic demonstration of the great learning in creative and practice arts our youngest students have been part of. Well done Kinders and their teachers for putting on such a wonderful event.
This Thursday we will be hosting our open classrooms and Education Week Assembly. Classrooms will be open from 12:40 until 1:10pm. This is a great opportunity for family to see the terrific learning that has been taking place in your children’s classroom and discuss with them some of the work they are very proud of. At 1:40pm we will be starting our special assembly where teachers will present four Education Week awards to students from their class that have demonstrated the school’s core values of Fair, Inclusive, Safe and Honest. We look forward to seeing you here to celebrate with the children.
On Friday our schools debating teams will go to Braidwood to compete in the Premier’s Debating Challenge. Debating is a great challenge, with the topic and side only given to the students one hour before the debate. Good luck to our teams. A second debating day will be held at Broulee PS on Tuesday 14 August.
