Last Wednesday we began our 2015 kindergarten transition program. It was hot and noisy but the Yr 5 buddies and their new small friends had a ball. This is the largest Kindergarten group we have had and we look forward to more fun this coming Wednesday. Well done Mrs Bourke and Mrs West.
Later this week I will be taking up the position of Regional Director for South Coast Schools for the remainder of 2014. During this time Mrs Lynne Takacs will be Relieving Principal, while Mrs Rachel Dunn will be on Mrs Takacs' class. Please don't hesitate to contact the school or Mrs Takacs if you have any questions.
School Parent Survey
Many thanks to all those parents who have completed our online parent survey. The survey closes this Friday. If you have not yet done so, please click on the following link to complete it.
This coming Thursday we will be holding our school Walkathon. Apologies for any inconvenience that was caused through last week's postponement (due to extreme hot weather conditions). The weather forecast indicates that hot weather is again expected on Thursday, but hopefully not as extreme as last week.
We will be leaving the school at 9.15 am and plan to arrive at the Broulee Surf Club between 10.15 and 11.00 am at the latest. We will be having lunch at the Surf Club and returning to school in time for our school assembly at 2.15 pm.
Please see our P&C section in today's Scoop for more details. A note has also been sent home with all students.
Parents and grandparents are welcome to either walk with us or join us at the Surf Club for lunch.
