Last year we were very lucky in our successful bid for funds for upgrading our basketball court. These coming holidays the court will get the promised attention and will be extended in size, as well as being totally resurfaced. During the holidays this entire area of the playground will be sectioned off while work is carried out and the small external school gate that opens into this area of the playground will also be locked. I hope that this does not inconvenience anyone but the end result will be worth it.
We have received advice that Mrs Lynne Takacs will continue on at Bodalla PS as Relieving Principal for term 2 and possibly the remainder of the year. We are lucky to have Mrs Meg Lander who is such an experienced teacher and who will continue with the Year 3 class.
Mrs Hounsell will also be working a four day week - Monday to Thursday - and will be replaced each Friday by Ms Sali Cantrill.
A massive THANK YOU to all involved with the construction of our Fairy Garden and especially Mrs Simone Elliott for all her coordination. It looks fantastic. More information later in this Scoop.
Cake/Plant Stall - Election Day
Thank you also to Lachlan McRae's Mum, Katrina and Grandmother, Kaye for coordinating the Cake/Plant Stall last Saturday and to all our families who contributed baked goods, plants and/or their services on the day. Together you raised $210.
Cross Country/Easter Hat Parade
We hope you can join us to cheer our students on during our Cross Country on Wednesday and our Easter Hat parade this coming Thursday.
Last day of Term 1 is this Thursday 2 April which will be a Mufti Day. Have a wonderful holiday - happy, safe and full of family fun and we look forward to seeing you all again on Tuesday 21 April.
