Many thanks to the dads who turned up early last Friday morning to cook the BBQ for our Father's Day breakfast. They were kept very busy as we had over 200 lining up for a great breakfast selection. It was great to see so many children with their dads and families, a wonderful way to start the day. Many thanks to our P&C and especially Tim McDonald.
Red Day Last Friday we also celebrated RED day (Read Every Day). Each class chose special reading activities that focused on reading, literacy and fun. Our junior section of the school also had a book parade which saw students and staff dressing up as their favorite book characters. Many thanks to Anne Jones and Cathy West for their organisation of these events.
Leadership Dinner Last night our school captains, Bree Mealy, Damia O'Loughlin, Stuart Megee and Seth Conolan attended a Eurobodalla Learning Community Leadership Dinner. The captains, along with their parents and staff, joined with over 220 school leaders from across the region. The captains were presented with their Leadership Awards by Andrew Constance, Member for Bega, Minister for Transport & Infrastructure.
