Last Friday the school participated in a very moving Remembrance Day Service. Many thanks to Mrs Frost and the individual students who represented their classes during the service. Thanks also to the parents and school community members who attended this special morning.
I, along with the School Captains had the privilege of attending the
Remembrance Day Service in Batemans Bay. Keshi, Ruby, Tane and Charlie along with captains from the other schools gathered with members of the public and various organizations to pay their respects as they laid our school wreath at the local Cenotaph.
The year is rapidly coming to a close with transitions into and out of school occurring.
Today we held our second 2017 Kindergarten transition session. It's so exciting to watch these small people start their journey along the education road. We welcome them and their parents into our community and hope it's the beginning of a very successful engagement in the learning environment.
Last Friday we also saw our Year 6 students have a taste of High School when the students spent the day at Moruya High School. Many students were excited with the new subjects and teaching/learning resources and were excited with the new options that a High School setting offers.
In the next few days you will receive a short survey to complete. The information provided by you will help us determine both ongoing as well as new directions for our school. The survey will be available both electronically as well as a paper format via the front office. It would be appreciated if you could take a few moments to complete the survey when it arrives.
Enjoy the week, some sun, more wind and the odd shower that awaits us.
