For all of our dads (and carers who step into this role), the big day is Friday - when we will have our Father's Day breakfast starting at 7.30 am. This is a lovely happy family time with dads cooking the barbie as well as eating the goodies. Please join us - it will be a fun way to start the day!
I'm often asked by parents about eSafety and keeping children safe on line. There has also been much discussion about this topic in high schools and at departmental levels. While we are happy to help all families as much as we can, cyber bullying often happens at home in the evening and all parents need to be aware of what to do and who to go to if this ever happens with your child.
You will find information in regard to the newly formed Children's eSafety Commissioner Office here:-https://esafety.gov.au/
An overview of FAQs that were delivered to school principals can also be found here:-

It is essential that families download our school app as it is the main method of communication with families when providing alerts about coming events eg cancelling excursions or sporting events due to bad weather. This app is free and is easy to use. Last Friday, following a very successful trip to watch the Southern Stars in Wollongong, we alerted families via our app that the bus would be back at school at a specific time. We had over 20 students whose parents had not downloaded the app, did not receive the message and were not at the school to meet the bus at the notified time. With a number of excursions planned over the next few weeks, please understand that this is the main method that will be used to notify you regarding bus times etc.
If you have any concerns or questions please contact us and we can help you download and show you how to use this app.
