The transition to NAPLAN online will commence from 2018. It is anticipated that all schools in NSW will be completing their NAPLAN online, rather than with the traditional pencil and paper as in previous years. As part of the preparation for this move, all schools in NSW will be participating in School Readiness Tests from now up until 22 September. These are designed to test the technical readiness of schools in preparation for the transition.
Broulee Public School Teachers will be trained to implement the readiness tests and to ensure the technology has been fully assessed. This Includes ensuring there are appropriate blocks and screens placed on the devices. More information will be sent home closer to our implementation date.
Safety Reminder for Parents
If you are picking your child up from school and parked on Cambridge Cres, PLEASE pick your child up from the main front gate, NOT the smaller bus gate. I understand many parents park closer to the bus gate, however this gate is busy with bus lines and it is too congested to allow more people to access it. Unless a child is catching a bus, they will be reminded to wait at the main gate for you. Many thanks for your cooperation with this safety concern.
Last week I congratulated our students who gained selection in the Eurobodalla PSSA South Coast Team after successfully competing at the Eurobodalla PSSA District Athletics Carnival. My apologies to both
Emma Brown and Chloe Dunn who also gained selection, however were left off my list.
